What's in this magical balm?
Comfrey – Traditionally known as “knitbone.” For centuries it has been valued for supporting the body’s natural repair of bruises, sprains, strains, and damaged tissue. When something felt like it needed help knitting back together, this was often the plant people reached for.
Calendula – Long known for its gentle, soothing nature. Traditionally used to calm irritated or inflamed skin, support the healing of minor wounds and scrapes, and bring comfort to rough, overworked, or weather-beaten skin.
St. John’s Wort – Especially valued for comfort on nerve-rich or irritated areas. Herbal tradition also notes its mild antispasmodic qualities, which is why it has long been included when both muscles and nerves are giving trouble.
Cayenne – Offers a gentle, steady warmth that encourages circulation. Traditionally used to ease the feel of cold, stiff, or aching spots by helping blood move into the area.
Beeswax – The quiet foundation that holds everything together, creates a light protective layer, and keeps the herbs right where you put them.
Rolled your ankle? An old injury that decides to flare up again? Back aching from too many hours on your feet? The list goes on.
